Our Wedding

Message From the Couple

As most of you are aware, our Hyatt resort in Jamaica will be closed until next year due to the devastation of Hurricane Melissa. We are absolutely devastated and praying for those affected.

We truly had our heart set on getting married on December 13th in a destination with our closest friends and family. With that being said, we have been working extremely hard to make this possible for us.

We have decided to keep our date and move destinations! We are heading to Dreams Sands Cancun in Cancun, Mexico (crazy- we know!). For those who are able to attend and switch locations with us, Destify has assured us a smooth transition for guests that booked with them. They will allow you to check the rooms and rates for Cancun and determine the difference from what was already paid (whether you owe more or get a refund). For guests that need, they are also offering refunds for Jamaica as well. To change your existing room reservations, please look at booking options and decide what room you would like at the new resort. After making your choice, please email guestservices@destify.com with your preferences.

We sincerely hope you will join us in Mexico to help us celebrate. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause with flights as well!

About Us

Hannah and Justin met in high school in 2012. As they became close friends quickly, their Ronkonkoma and Bohemia groups started to become one. They had an instant connection and grew to become best friends. Having almost every class together always allowed them to show off their competitive nature (they still argue about who is better at math!).

As college came and they furthered their education separately, summers and holiday breaks at home were always the best for reunions. They would spend their free time going to the movies, hanging out at the beach, or with friends (probably in Luyster’s garage). COVID 2020 hit during their senior year. The only fortunate thing to come from that time may be how inseparable they became. As Justin pursued his career in Manhattan, Hannah continued her schooling on Long Island. In the beginning of 2022, Hannah began to visit Justin in New York City more frequently. Without even realizing it, they were falling for each other. When Justin moved back home, he made things official with Hannah in September 2022-well….maybe. The joke goes that Justin never asked Hannah to be his girlfriend, he told her that he loved her and she told him the same. That is the anniversary they celebrate and they wouldn’t change this love story for the world.

Justin and Hannah have found careers that they love. They moved into an apartment in Babylon in April 2024 and created a beautiful home together. Their shared passion for sports (and the same New York teams) plays a large part in their relationship as their favorite things to do together is watch or attend these games. Find them at Madison Square Garden chanting the Rangers’ goal song one night, while screaming at the Giants playing football the next night.

Justin proposed in August 2024 (in between both of their birthdays) on the beach in Hannah’s absolute favorite place in the world - Fire Island. After creating the most perfect proposal, they had a special celebration with friends and family. Their love for a tropical place and the beach gave them the destination wedding idea. They are so excited to embark on the wedding journey and even more excited for the marriage ahead!
